Fire Alumni’s “FIREFIGHTER CANDIDATE CAMP” is a 5 day live event held by Fire Alumni and its’ highly acclaimed instructors in cooperation with South Bay Regional Public Safety Training Consortium. These camps are designed to better prepare you for the entry level firefighter hiring process and designed to help you become proficient in the skills needed to score in the top tier of the entrance examinations. Our expert area instructors will have the chance to see you in action at the same time you are learning what it takes to master the hiring process and what it takes to be a firefighter. Our philosophy is simple if we can help you bring out the best in who you are and what you have to offer the fire service, then each phase of the process will be incredibly straightforward. Veteran Fire Officers from various Fire Departments and Industry Experts will work with you and assist you in developing your Written exam, Physical Ability/Agility, Background/Psychological and Oral interview skills. The drills and evolutions we run at Camp are conducted in a practice scenario and culminate in formal events. When you have completed the Camp, not only will you have become proficient in the entry level firefighter hiring process but you will be uniquely prepared to perform excellently when you are in front of the actual evaluators.
